Following the 5th or 6th 10-next round in the microwave, the chocolate was workable. The glycerin brought the sheen back and built the chocolate *nearly* suited to dipping pretzels in. Another advantage of glycerin is the fact it’s hygroscopic and might help pull any offending moisture out
